The London 10k run 2008This event, organised by the Flora London Marathon team will be hosted for the first time on the 26th May 2008. The race will be based upon the Olympic Marathon circuit designed for the 2012 games. The idea of the event is that it’s a show case experience for London in the lead up to the Olympic Games and beyond.The race starts in The Mall and finishes at Buckingham Palace, taking in the sights and sounds of London along the way. There will be 10.000 runners, with the 7.500 charity places estimated to sell out within 24 hours. BackCare has secured 10 places in this exciting new run, entry is free but you must pledge to raise £500 in sponsorship for the charity.
